There are a few reasons that your car(s) might not be listed on your exemptions list:
You are leasing the car and so do not "own" any equity that needs to be protected from a trustee. You will be able to keep the car as long as your lease-holder allows you to assume it after your bankruptcy.
You owe more than the car is worth and so do not "own" any equity that needs to be protected from a trustee. You will be able to reaffirm, redeem, or surrender the car without using any of your exemption balance.
You have already used all of the eligible exemptions to cover other cars and/or related items and so cannot protect this particular vehicle. If this is the case, we will let you know so that you know what to expect.
